Premium Lounge Team Leader
Doncaster Sheffield Airport provides a gateway for the Sheffield City Region to the world. The last year has seen transformational growth and major infrastructure investment, including the opening of the Great Yorkshire Way. As well as passenger growth the Airport is focused on developing the broader aviation related activities.
As we deliver continued passenger growth and some exciting new destinations, we’re now looking for extra special team members to join us in our recently opened Premium Lounge. As one of two Premium Lounge Team Leaders, you’ll be responsible for the day to day management of your shifts and work closely with the Premium Lounge Manager and Airport’s Commercial & Passenger
Experience Team to ensure that we provide a truly outstanding experience to all our Lounge guests. You’ll have experience within a highly focused sales and service environment that consistently delivers the highest possible standards. You will possess superb attention to detail and have an eye for quality, along with the ability to communicate at all levels.
The Premium Lounge Team also operates the Xpress Bar which offers an opportunity for passengers to purchase last minute drinks, snacks and refreshments at their departure gate and the Team Leaders will be required to assume responsibility
for this operation throughout the year.
As an organisation, Doncaster Sheffield Airport has recently committed to the launch of the World Host programme in our quest to deliver Customer Service excellence that sets us apart from our competitors. The Premium Lounge Team Leader will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of this programme and be expected to lead from the front to the remainder of the team.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous experience in Executive Lounge, Retail or a Hotel environment.
- Accountable and resilient.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
- Previous supervisory experience in the hotel, leisure or retail sector
- Calm, efficient and organised.
- Excellent personal presentation and communication skills.
- A passion for delivering exceptional levels of Customer Service.
- Ability to listen and respond to demanding passengers’ needs.
A full UK driving licence is essential and you will be required to complete a Criminal Records Check and a five year reference check.
