Doncaster Sheffield Airport are forecasting a busy February half term period this month as families head off for some winter sun.
Having been in the grips of a cold winter for months in the UK, the first school holidays of the year are always popular with people who are looking to jet off to warmer climes such as the Canaries and Egypt for some much needed sunshine.
Thousands of passengers are expected to pass through the terminal building during the school holiday period as they take the opportunity to fly between Doncaster Sheffield Airport and a host of destinations across Europe and beyond.
Popular destinations of choice include the wide range of Mediterranean resorts and city breaks available from the Airport, served by operators such as Thomson, First Choice, Thomas Cook, Links Air and Wizz air.
