Airport boss brews up a special cuppa to celebrate Yorkshire DayAugust 1, 2013
Bosses at Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield have marked Yorkshire Day by brewing up a special pot of Yorkshire tea.
Passengers enjoyed the free cup of the regions tea to celebrate Yorkshire Day (August 1).
Yorkshire Day has been celebrated for over 30 years now and the staff at the Airport felt it should raise the profile of this important regional celebration.
Steve Gill, Managing Director at Doncaster Sheffield Airport said: “We are proud to be a Yorkshire airport. This is an important day for Yorkshire people and one that the Airport wanted to share with its passengers.
“We felt there could be nothing better than a good cup of Yorkshire tea to mark the occasion.”
